Privacy notice
Draft for The VALOR Groups' review. It describes what this software actually does; legal review is still required before launch.
Applicants and donors
When you apply for an opportunity we keep your name, email, optional phone and city, and your statement, only to review your application and contact you about it. When you give, we keep your name, email, the amount and the campaign, to process the gift, send your receipt and keep financial records. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach VALOR.
Public campaign pages show supporters by first name only, or as “Anonymous” if you choose. They never show your email or surname.
Team members
VALOR OS records sign-ins, the work you do (tasks, evidence, documents, messages, meetings) and security-relevant actions such as opening or downloading protected material. This audit trail is how the organization keeps trust and accountability; it is append-only, and access to it is restricted to authorized leaders using two-step sign-in.
Restricted documents show your email and the time across the page while you read them, and some cannot be downloaded or printed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data by contacting The VALOR Groups. Some records (financial and audit records, and anything under a legal hold) are kept for the periods stated in VALOR's retention policy.
Where data lives
Data is stored on VALOR's own servers. Email is sent through VALOR's mail server. No data is sold or shared for advertising.
